CHEESE ROLL 2026 - WE ARE BACK!!
We had previously been running with it being 200 years since the first recorded notice of the Cheese Roll to the Town Crier of Gloucester. However, recent investigative journalism by our friends at BBC Gloucestershire has revealed that it might actually have been 10 years later, in 1836. So in the interest of historical accuracy, we got our awesome designer to make a quick edit. A lovely little nod to our Master of Ceremonies who shouts “Three for the Cheese” to signal the release of the cheese, before “Four to be off” where the competitors are unleashed upon their glorious journey to chase the Double Gloucester down Mrs’ Cooper’s Hill.
